Bob has been in photography for over 38 years with his wife Edna. They run a portrait oriented studio specializing in children, family and high school senior photography. Bob maintained a custom color lab for over 30 years until transitioning into digital photography. His background in printing color and as an artist retouching negatives and airbrushing prints gave him a big advantage with digital retouching.
Bob has served as President of PPA, Illinois Professional Photographer and other local organizations. In 2007, he received the International Photographic Council Leadership Award from the United Nations. He has taught throughout the country and consults for many studios and photographers.
Basic Digital Photography, June 6 - 8
This is a great 21⁄2 day introductory course that establishes
fundamentals of equipment, cameras, lenses, flash
and natural light and light meters. A manual is provided for
all students.

Digital Photography & Workflow, June 8 - 10
This course is a continuation of Basic Fundamentals of
Photography or for those that understand digital capture
and want to learn and use Photoshop actions, Bridge and
other workflow programs and techniques to improve
efficiency. Students will bring their laptop or desktop
computer to run through exercises in computer file management,
batch color and exposure corrections, cropping,
processing and renaming files. Automated enhancements
such as soft focus, vignetting, applying logos and much
more will be taught. A manual is provided for all students.
