The Mid-America Institute of Professional Photography (MAIPP) is an affiliated school of the Professional Photographers of America. Established in 1980, MAIPP has a proven record of dedication to the highest quality education at very reasonable rates. Held in the Spring of each year, over half of the MAIPP students have returned to take additional courses and enjoy the variety of networking opportunities. To get the most from your MAIPP class, you will spend the entire week with your chosen instructor.

Course Prerequisites Most of the courses list "prerequisites" for that course. These are included so the students will enroll in a class that they are qualified for. The instructor will NOT "slow down" the course for those who do not meet the prerequisite requirements.

2008 Schedule MAIPP will be held June 1-5 on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A $200 deposit is required with your application. The balance is due before April 1st, 2008. If you register before December 31, 2007, receive a $25 discount.

Location MAIPP is held on the University of Northern Iowa campus in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The University offers the best in audio-visual presentations, spacious classrooms, and urban and environmental settings within a short walk from the classroom. Classes are held within a short walk from the residence halls.
